Company:

Organization Description:

Lawcrosse is a legal consultancy focused on cross-border collaboration—connecting expertise, technology, and education to help the legal sector work internationally.

We advise law firms, professional service providers, and legal startups on internationalisation, cross-border collaboration, and leveraging technology for smarter, more connected legal work.

Our work combines strategic consulting with product innovation and thought leadership in legal education and AI.

Our activities focus on three interconnected lines:

• Advisory & Strategy – We help law firms and professional services companies grow internationally, design cross-border workflows, and access new markets.
• Technology & Innovation – We advise on digital tools that enhance collaboration and knowledge-sharing across the legal ecosystem.
• Education & Research – We deliver training, university teaching, and applied research on the European and international legal profession, AI in legal practice, and the future of legal work.

We believe the future of law is connected, collaborative, and technology-enabled—but always human-centered.

Biography:

I am a global lawyer and expert in EU law and international trade law, focused on making cross-border legal work smoother, more digital and accessible. Through my company, Lawcrosse, I help European and international law firms and professional services companies strengthen their international collaboration and deliver more seamless and tech-enabled multi-country advice. I also work with professional services companies and legal startups on regulatory compliance and market entry strategies across Europe and beyond.

My professional background spans private practice, academia, and a policy think tank, and I have also served as a law clerk at the Court of Justice of the European Union. Alongside my other work, I am an adjunct professor at IE University (Madrid), where I teach EU law and international trade and business law. I also contribute to research and teaching projects on AI in legal education, exploring how to prepare junior lawyers for an AI-enabled profession and how to embed ethical use of AI into legal training from day one.

I am especially interested in how technology and globalisation are reshaping business, education, and professional services. I work with many types of clients — from public bodies to startups — and I teach and coach students and professionals across regions. My key focus areas include innovation and sustainability in both higher education and legal practice.

What keeps me busy at the moment: AI, geopolitics, scaling in the EU and legaltech
